O que é drawdown no day trade

O drawdown se refere ao grau em que sua conta de trading ou um determinado investimento caiu,como pagar imposto de renda de apostas esportivas desde o pico até o fim da recuperação. Em outras palavras, uma queda do pico até o vale - ou oscilação de baixa - durante um período específico. O drawdown é calculado como uma porcentagem entre o pico (valor máximo) e o vale (valor mínimo) da operação.


Drawdown = [ (Valor máximo - Valor mínimo) / Valor máximo] x 100. Na prática, imagine que você tenha em mãos uma ação registrada por um valor mais alto de R$40 e o valor mais baixo por R$20. Aplicando na fórmula, você terá: [ (40 - 20) / 40] * 100 = 50%. Portanto, no período analisado, o ativo teve uma oscilação de valor de 50%.
